What is the Australian Central Community Lottery?

The Australian Central Community Lottery is a self help scheme which, since 1984, has distributed over $6 million to not-for-profit sporting clubs, schools and pre-schools, community groups and charitable organisations in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

  • There is absolutely no cost for not-for-profit groups to participate
  • Tickets are $2 each
  • Participating organisations retain 100% of all proceeds which they generate through the sale of lottery tickets
  • With 10 tickets in each book, community groups make $20 per lottery book sold

Australian Central and its Business and Media partners meet all the costs associated with prizes, promotional material, advertising, printing of tickets, and coordinates all administrative essentials such as distribution, licensing, and statutory requirements - leaving participating organisations clear of any of the costs. We even meet the costs and arrange point of sale opportunities within major shopping centre’s and at Bunnings Warehouses where tickets can be sold by participating organisations.

Australian Central would like to thank everybody who help make the Community Lottery such a success including our Business and Media Partners, all the community groups involved and of course, everybody who purchased a ticket.
